NEAS is run purely by volunteers and in order to develop we need great volunteers!
We are looking for reliable people who are genuinely compassionate towards animals and are willing to commit their time on a regular basis.
There is now a continuous stream of animals coming to the Sanctuary so we urgently need volunteers who are experienced in animal care, volunteers who are enthusiastic to learn about all sorts of animals and volunteers with skills such as carpentry to help build accommodation for new arrivals.
Volunteer duties involve cleaning enclosures and feeding animals as well as maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, environmental and building projects. Volunteers must be prepared to work outdoors all year round in all weathers when necessary.
We work as a team but volunteers can also work individually on a specific project that is of particular interest and suits your skills.
